Saving Lives Through Swim Access
At FINIS, we believe swimming is more than a sport—it's a life-saving skill. That's why we're proud to partner with the Hope Floats Foundation, a nonprofit that provides swim lesson scholarships to children who might not otherwise have the chance to learn. Together, we're working to reduce childhood drownings and make swimming accessible to all.
A Shared Mission
Hope Floats relies on a network of swim schools, donors, and partners to fund scholarships for families in need. FINIS has been a champion of this mission from the start, providing both leadership and resources to ensure more children gain life-saving swim skills.

How FINIS Supports Hope Floats
- Board Leadership – FINIS co-founder John Mix is a founding member of the Hope Floats Board of Directors and continues to serve today.
- Financial Contributions – A portion of FINIS product sales—including all goggles worldwide and swim diapers in the U.S.—go directly to Hope Floats scholarships.
- Product Support – FINIS donates gear and works with Hope Floats swim schools to keep kids learning and safe in the water.
The Impact
Hope Floats currently partners with 200+ swim schools across 30 states, and continues to grow. Through ongoing collaboration, thousands of children have received scholarships for swim lessons—children who otherwise may never have had the chance to learn.
Every scholarship represents a child empowered, a family given peace of mind, and one more step toward ending childhood drowning.
